Iranian animation ‘Light Sight’ wins two awards at the Flagler Film Festival in the US in January.
The animation has won the Audience Choice Award and the Best Animation Award at the event.
Directed by Moslem Tabatabaee, ‘Light Sight’ is the story of a creature named M.E. who is enamored by a white light outside of its room.
“The animation has one character and one setting,” Tabatabaee told the media earlier on, adding, “The character tries to escape from the room to get to the light he sees outside.”
The 3D animation has already won awards at scores of international festivals.
The Flagler Film Festival was formed to showcase the work of new and emerging filmmakers as well as more experienced filmmakers.
The 5th edition of the festival was held on January 12 - 14, 2018.
